Convenient, fun, and multi-national, San Francisco is a great city to sightsee and live in. Take in the majesty of Golden Gate Bridge, eat fresh seafood at Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, and ride a cable car! There's never a lack of things to do in San Francisco!
My name is Ahmed and I'm from Saudi Arabia. I've been studying in GEOS for 12 months. My favorite memory is that I have multiple favorite memories. But probably our first academic excursion with Dee because it felt different. We went out to speak with Peet's employees and Starbucks. I never experienced this in Saudi Arabia.we don't have excursions and we got to speak with native speakers. I also remember when we went to Twin Peaks. With all due respect Matt Mckenna was my favorite teacher. Matt is teaching for the sake of conveying knowledge, more a facilitator than a teacher. And I like that he pays a lot of attention to all the students' needs and is a considerate teacher. I will miss the staff the most at GEOS. In San Francisco I will miss my friends and my apartment. My favorite neighborhood is Downtown and Union Square because everything is really there. I will also miss the sea, the ocean. I went in it and swam. It was cold but good.Advice to students? Read, read, read, read, read, read!
It is hard to gather all I have experienced in one word. How about, multi-cultural.
